The center of the town of St. George, Town Hall, King's Square is a popular meeting area for residents and an excellent site to start a walking tour of old St. George's. The area is lined with structures from the colonial era, such as the Town Hall from 1782 and the Bermuda National Trust Museum, both of which have luxurious interiors made of Bermuda cedar. Amongst many others, there is also a structure constructed in 1776 that served as a supper hall for the American Revolution, which now houses the Butterfield Bank.
